Here is the PC “barebones kit” that I ordered a few years ago and have continued upgrading when needed. I know some are going to say it is not that powerful, but it is better than some, and for the price, it is cheaper to build, than buying a new one every few years. Here are the specs:

Seagate 320GB Serial ATA HD 7200/16MB/SATA-3G running 310Gb Linux. 😉 , 10Gb XP sometimes.

Seagate 120Gig Hard Drive partitioned into 3 parts, 2 of 30Gigs, and 1 of 60Gigs (for sharing on the network)
